WE READ LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Do you know Little Red Riding Hood?

We have read this traditional story along the week, and we've loved it!

It tells a story about a girl called Little Red Riding Hood, that lives with her parents next to a forest. One day, her mum says:" Little Red, grandma is sick. Please, take her this cake. But don't stop on the way!"

So Little Red took her basket and went through the forest to Grandma's house.

In the forest, she met a Big Bad Wolf. He convinced Little Red that she could pick a bunch of flowers to her Grandma.

Meanwhile, the Big Bad Wolf got to Grandma's house. He knocked at the door and pretended to be Little Red.

Grandma recognised Big Bad Wolf's voice, and hid under the bed.

The Big Bad Wolf went in and did't see anyone, so he put on Grandma's pyjamas and hat and hopped into bed.

Soon, Little Red arrived to Grandma's house. "Grandma, what BIG ears 👂 you have!", said Little Red when she saw the Big Bad Wolf. "And what BIG eyes 👀 you have! And what BIG teeth you have!"

"All the better to eat you up!!", said the Big Bad Wolf, getting out of bed. But then, Grandma's hat flopped right over his head, and he couldn't see anything.

Grandma pulled Little Red under the bed.

Just then, a woodcutter passed by the house, and heard the Big Bad Wolf. He went into the house and said: "GO AWAY, BIG BAD WOLF!!"

The Big Bad Wolf, scared, ran away, and they never saw him again.

We have organized the story sequence. What happened first? And next?

And we have played different games about the story.

IT'S WINTER!

 Welcome back to school!

Do you know that we are in winter now? Sure you do, because last week it was snowy! ☃

These days we have remembered the song we learnt before Christmas: 'Little snowflake'

And we have learnt another winter song: 'I'm a little snowman'.

In these two songs, we have known some words about parts of the body: head 👱, nose 👃, hand  and eyes 👀.

So we have played a funny game: Little snowflake falling on my...

Falling on my head...

Falling in my hand...

Falling on my foot...

Falling on my arm...

Falling on my ear...

We like learning about parts of the body, so we have sung another song: 'One little finger'

Look our little fingers!

And we have sung one 1 little finger 👆, two 2 little fingers , three 3 little fingers, tap, tap, tap... 🎶

Finally, we have read a very beautiful book about winter: 'Little Christmas tree'

This book shows us how is the forest in winter. We know a lot of forest animals! In this book we can see foxes, squirrels, rabbits, owls and deers.

Wrapp yourselves up, it's cold!!
